THE EXAMINATION MUST BE CARRIED OUT IN CONJUNCTION WITH A COMPLETE HAEMOGRAM

Type of sample/quantity required: whole blood in K3 EDTA (must comply with blood to anticoagulant ratio) + one unstained slide (it is important to smear the slide before the blood comes into contact with the EDTA); to enable the correct interpretation of flow cytometric results the immunophenotype must be carried out in conjunction with a complete haemogram. Upon special request, only the CD4 – CD8 ratio assessment can be performed;

Storage/shipping methods: samples must be stored and shipped at ambient temperature;

Reception days: every day from Monday to Saturday;

Waiting times: reports are issued within 48 hours of reception.
