{"id":48866,"date":"2026-01-20T15:52:25","date_gmt":"2026-01-20T14:52:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.mylav.net\/?p=48866"},"modified":"2026-01-27T10:53:32","modified_gmt":"2026-01-27T09:53:32","slug":"virus-emergents-du-chien-et-du-chat","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.mylav.net\/fr\/maladies-infectieuses\/virus-emergents-du-chien-et-du-chat\/","title":{"rendered":"Virus \u00e9mergents du chien et du chat"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Selon l\u2019Organisation mondiale de la sant\u00e9 (OMS), les maladies infectieuses \u00e9mergentes sont d\u00e9finies comme des <em>maladies caus\u00e9es par des agents pathog\u00e8nes r\u00e9cemment identifi\u00e9s ou auparavant inconnus<\/em>, responsables de probl\u00e8mes de sant\u00e9 publique au niveau local et international. Cette d\u00e9finition peut \u00e9galement \u00eatre appliqu\u00e9e \u00e0 la m\u00e9decine v\u00e9t\u00e9rinaire.<\/p>\n<p>Ces derni\u00e8res ann\u00e9es, gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 l\u2019utilisation de techniques avanc\u00e9es de biologie mol\u00e9culaire, comme le <strong>s\u00e9quen\u00e7age de nouvelle g\u00e9n\u00e9ration (NGS)<\/strong>, de <strong>nouveaux virus<\/strong> ont \u00e9t\u00e9 identifi\u00e9s chez le chien et le chat. Parall\u00e8lement, certains virus d\u00e9j\u00e0 connus ont vu <strong>leur distribution g\u00e9ographique s\u2019\u00e9tendre<\/strong> ou <strong>l\u2019incidence des cas cliniques augmenter<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Parvovirus \u00e9mergents<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>En plus des souches classiques de parvovirus du chien (<em>Canine parvovirus<\/em>, CPV) et du chat (<em>Feline parvovirus<\/em>, FPV) appartenant au <em>Carnivore protoparvovirus 1<\/em>, d\u2019autres parvovirus m\u00e9ritent une attention particuli\u00e8re : les <strong>bufavirus<\/strong> et les <strong>bocaparvovirus<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Les <strong>bufavirus du chien (CBuV)<\/strong> et du chat (FBuV) (<em>Carnivore protoparvovirus 3<\/em>) constituent une <strong>nouvelle esp\u00e8ce virale<\/strong> au sein du genre <em>Protoparvovirus<\/em>.\n<ul>\n<li><strong>CBuV<\/strong> a \u00e9t\u00e9 identifi\u00e9 pour la premi\u00e8re fois en 2011 chez une port\u00e9e de chiots de cinq mois pr\u00e9sentant des signes respiratoires.<\/li>\n<li><strong>FBuV<\/strong> a \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9crit en 2017 chez des chats atteints de formes respiratoires et\/ou digestives.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Chez les carnivores domestiques, ces virus semblent pr\u00e9senter un <strong>tropisme pour l\u2019appareil respiratoire<\/strong>, m\u00eame si certaines \u00e9tudes sugg\u00e8rent \u00e9galement un r\u00f4le <strong>ent\u00e9ropathog\u00e8ne<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Les <strong>bocavirus<\/strong> provoquent des maladies chez plusieurs esp\u00e8ces animales, et chez le chat ils comprennent plusieurs esp\u00e8ces virales. Les <strong>bocaparvovirus f\u00e9lins (FBoV)<\/strong> ont \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9crits pour la premi\u00e8re fois en 2012 \u00e0 Hong Kong et regroupent trois principaux g\u00e9notypes :\n<ul>\n<li><strong>FBoV-1, FBoV-2 et FBoV-3<\/strong>, parmi lesquels<\/li>\n<li><strong>FBoV-1 (Carnivore bocaparvovirus 1)<\/strong> est clairement associ\u00e9 \u00e0 <strong>des formes s\u00e9v\u00e8res de diarrh\u00e9e f\u00e9line<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Astrovirus du chien et du chat<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Les <strong>astrovirus canins (CAstV)<\/strong> et <strong>f\u00e9lin (FAstV)<\/strong> sont largement r\u00e9pandus dans les populations de chiens et de chats.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Pour <strong>CAstV<\/strong>, une <strong>pr\u00e9valence plus \u00e9lev\u00e9e<\/strong> a \u00e9t\u00e9 observ\u00e9e chez les chiots pr\u00e9sentant des signes gastro-ent\u00e9riques comparativement aux chiots sains, et l\u2019intensit\u00e9 de l\u2019excr\u00e9tion virale semble corr\u00e9l\u00e9e aux manifestations cliniques.<\/li>\n<li>Chez le chat, ces virus semblent <strong>exacerber les signes cliniques caus\u00e9s par d\u2019autres pathog\u00e8nes<\/strong>, notamment le FPV.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<figure id=\"attachment_48839\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-48839\" style=\"width: 768px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-48839 size-medium_large\" src=\"https:\/\/www.mylav.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/2026-01-20-slo-blog-768x583.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"768\" height=\"583\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-48839\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo : Particules d\u2019astrovirus visualis\u00e9es au microscope \u00e9lectronique.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><strong>Rotavirus de groupe A<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Les <strong>rotavirus de groupe A<\/strong> sont impliqu\u00e9s dans des diarrh\u00e9es chez de nombreuses esp\u00e8ces animales, y compris chez le chien et le chat.<br \/>\nLes rotavirus f\u00e9lins sont particuli\u00e8rement importants <em>non seulement pour leur impact sur la sant\u00e9 f\u00e9line<\/em>, mais aussi pour leur <strong>potentiel zoonotique<\/strong> : certains g\u00e9notypes f\u00e9lins, notamment <strong>G3P[9] et G6P[8]<\/strong>, ont \u00e9t\u00e9 associ\u00e9s \u00e0 des <strong>\u00e9pid\u00e9mies \u00e9tendues de rotaviroses chez l\u2019enfant<\/strong> dans diff\u00e9rentes r\u00e9gions du monde.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Circovirus chez le chien et le chat<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Un autre virus associ\u00e9 \u00e0 des ent\u00e9rites est le <strong>circovirus f\u00e9lin (FeCV)<\/strong>, similaire au <strong>circovirus canin (CaCV)<\/strong>, dont le r\u00f4le dans la survenue de diarrh\u00e9e aigu\u00eb est bien document\u00e9.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>CaCV<\/strong> est reconnu comme un <strong>copathog\u00e8ne important<\/strong> en association avec des agents primaires comme le CPV ou le coronavirus canin.<\/li>\n<li>Pour <strong>FeCV<\/strong>, les donn\u00e9es sur la pathog\u00e9nicit\u00e9 sont encore en d\u00e9veloppement, mais les \u00e9l\u00e9ments disponibles sugg\u00e8rent un <strong>comportement biologique proche de celui observ\u00e9 chez le chien<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Morbillivirus f\u00e9lin (FeMV)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Chez le chat, le <strong>morbillivirus f\u00e9lin (FeMV)<\/strong> suscite un int\u00e9r\u00eat croissant en m\u00e9decine v\u00e9t\u00e9rinaire.<br \/>\nCe virus est <strong>antig\u00e9niquement li\u00e9<\/strong> au virus du <strong>cimurro canine<\/strong> et au virus du <strong>morbillo humain<\/strong>. Il circule de fa\u00e7on significative dans les colonies et \u00e9levages, se transmettant principalement <strong>par contact avec des urines infect\u00e9es<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>FeMV a \u00e9t\u00e9 associ\u00e9 \u00e0 la <strong>maladie r\u00e9nale chronique (MRC)<\/strong>, provoquant surtout une <strong>n\u00e9phrite tubulo-interstitielle<\/strong>, qui conduit progressivement \u00e0 une <strong>perte de fonction r\u00e9nale<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Les premi\u00e8res phases de l\u2019infection sont souvent <strong>asymptomatiques<\/strong> ou peu sp\u00e9cifiques.<\/li>\n<li>Les signes cliniques \u00e9vidents (polyurie\/polydipsie, amaigrissement, l\u00e9thargie) apparaissent g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement lorsque <strong>le dommage r\u00e9nal est d\u00e9j\u00e0 avanc\u00e9<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Domestic cat hepadnavirus (DCH)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Un autre virus \u00e9mergent chez le chat est le <strong>Domestic cat hepadnavirus (DCH)<\/strong>, identifi\u00e9 pour la premi\u00e8re fois en 2018 en Australie.<br \/>\nCe virus a longtemps \u00e9t\u00e9 <strong>apparent\u00e9 au virus de l\u2019h\u00e9patite B humaine<\/strong>. Il a \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9tect\u00e9 tant dans le sang que dans le tissu h\u00e9patique, avec une <strong>pr\u00e9valence plus \u00e9lev\u00e9e chez les chats co-infect\u00e9s par des r\u00e9trovirus et pr\u00e9sentant des anomalies h\u00e9patiques<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Ce virus a \u00e9t\u00e9 associ\u00e9 \u00e0 un <strong>dommage h\u00e9patique<\/strong>, les chats pr\u00e9sentant un profil biochimique h\u00e9patique alt\u00e9r\u00e9 ayant <strong>environ trois fois plus de chances d\u2019\u00eatre positifs pour DCH<\/strong> que ceux ayant des param\u00e8tres normaux.<br \/>\n\u00c0 l\u2019instar de l\u2019infection par l\u2019HBV humain, l\u2019infection par DCH pourrait d\u00e9clencher une <strong>h\u00e9patite chronique immunom\u00e9di\u00e9e<\/strong>, caract\u00e9ris\u00e9e par <strong>n\u00e9crose, r\u00e9g\u00e9n\u00e9ration et fibrose<\/strong>, \u00e9voluant vers la <strong>cirrhose<\/strong> voire le <strong>carcinome h\u00e9patocellulaire<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Virus neurotropes chez le chat<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Deux virus neurotropes m\u00e9ritent \u00e9galement d\u2019\u00eatre mentionn\u00e9s chez les carnivores domestiques, particuli\u00e8rement chez le chat :<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Bornavirus (BoDV)<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Rustrela virus (RusV)<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Ces virus partagent une caract\u00e9ristique commune : ils utilisent <strong>des esp\u00e8ces r\u00e9servoirs sauvages<\/strong> (taupes et rongeurs) pour maintenir l\u2019infection dans la nature.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>BoDV<\/strong> poss\u00e8de un <strong>large spectre d\u2019h\u00f4tes<\/strong>, affectant non seulement les f\u00e9lid\u00e9s domestiques et sauvages, mais aussi une vari\u00e9t\u00e9 de mammif\u00e8res (humains inclus) et des oiseaux.<\/li>\n<li>Des cas de maladies neurologiques caus\u00e9es par <em>BoDV<\/em> et <em>RusV<\/em> ont \u00e9t\u00e9 <strong>fr\u00e9quemment observ\u00e9s chez le chat<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Le chien est <strong>rarement affect\u00e9<\/strong>, principalement par <em>BoDV<\/em>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>La transmission chez le chat se produit surtout via <strong>le comportement de pr\u00e9dation<\/strong> des r\u00e9servoirs naturels. D\u2019autres voies possibles (contact avec s\u00e9cr\u00e9tions\/excr\u00e9tions de taupes ou de rongeurs infect\u00e9s) ne peuvent \u00eatre exclues, mais sont jug\u00e9es <strong>moins probables<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>BoDV<\/strong> est pr\u00e9sent dans une aire g\u00e9ographique \u00e9tendue, avec la majorit\u00e9 des cas rapport\u00e9s en <strong>Europe centrale<\/strong>, notamment en Allemagne et dans les pays voisins, mais des cas ont aussi \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9crits en Italie.<br \/>\nL\u2019aire de distribution de <strong>RusV<\/strong> est plus restreinte, l\u2019infection semblant \u00eatre concentr\u00e9e <strong>en Europe centrale et du Nord<\/strong>, m\u00eame si des cas r\u00e9cents ont \u00e9t\u00e9 signal\u00e9s chez des f\u00e9lid\u00e9s sauvages en <strong>Am\u00e9rique du Nord<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Analyse g\u00e9n\u00e9tique (PCR) chez MYLAV<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>De nombreux agents viraux \u00e9mergents mentionn\u00e9s ci-dessus peuvent aujourd\u2019hui \u00eatre <strong>recherch\u00e9s et identifi\u00e9s par test PCR<\/strong> au laboratoire MYLAV.<br \/>\nConsultez les <strong>nouveaut\u00e9s du catalogue MYLAV 2026<\/strong> pour conna\u00eetre les analyses disponibles.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Bibliographie s\u00e9lectionn\u00e9e<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Beikpour F, Letafati A, Fakhr ZA, Decaro N, Mozhgani SH.
